HAMILTON CONTROL SYSTEMS LTD.(“Coilworks”, “we”, “us”) is the data controller for personal data processed through hamcontrol.shop. We sell modular, passive cable-management kits worldwide and are responsible for how your data is handled when you browse, order, subscribe or contact us.

We collect only what we need to run the store and fulfil orders:

• Order & delivery data: name, email, phone, shipping address and delivery address, items ordered and order value.
• Account & membership data: email and subscription tier for members.
• Support & enquiry data: messages you send via Contact, Wholesale Inquiry or Order Status forms.
• Payment metadata: confirmation of payment, amount, currency and a payment reference — never your full card number (see the payment boundary below).
• Technical data: essential cookies, device/browser type and basic, privacy-respecting usage signals.

Collection sources: data is provided by you (forms and checkout), collected automatically by essential security logs, and confirmed by our payment processor confirming the outcome of a transaction.

• To fulfil your order and membership — performance of a contract.
• To provide support and answer enquiries — legitimate interests and, for order issues, contract.
• To retain checkout contact details for follow-up on incomplete orders — legitimate interests; you may object at any time.
• To keep the site secure and prevent fraud — legitimate interests and legal obligation.
• To send marketing — only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• To meet tax and accounting duties — legal obligation.

Card payments are processed by our PCI-DSS compliant payment provider (Stripe; PayPal where offered). You enter card details directly with the provider on their secure, hosted checkout. Coilworks does not receive, see or store your full card number, CVC or full expiry — we receive only the outcome (paid / failed), the amount, currency and a transaction reference needed to manage your order.

We share data only with processors who help us run the store, under contract:

• Hosting & infrastructure: our cloud hosting provider serves the site and stores order records.
• Payments: Stripe (and PayPal where offered) process transactions.
• Database & forms: our managed database provider stores order and enquiry records.
• Email: our transactional email provider sends receipts and support replies.
• Delivery: shipping carriers receive the name and shipping address and delivery address needed to deliver your parcel.

We do not sell your personal data. We disclose data to authorities only where legally required.

Some processors operate outside your country. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK/EU adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses (with the UK Addendum where relevant) to protect it.

We keep personal data only as long as needed. Enquiry and marketing-lead data is retained for up to 24 months, then deleted or anonymised. Order and transaction records are kept for as long as required to meet tax, accounting and consumer-law obligations. Uploaded desk photos used by Setup Studio are cleared after 30 days by default.

Depending on where you live, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. Under UK/EU GDPR you may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Under the CCPA/CPRA, California residents may request access to and deletion of personal information and may opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information.

Coilworks does not sell your personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. If this ever changes, we will provide a clear opt-out mechanism before doing so. You can contact support@hamcontrol.shop with any Do Not Sell or Share request.

We use essential cookies to run the cart, checkout and secure sessions, and privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage. See our Cookie Policy for detail and controls.

We do not use solely automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects. Our store is not directed at children: it must not be used by anyone under 13, and those aged 13–17 may only order with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian, who places the order.

To ship physical orders we process your shipping address and delivery address and share it with the carrier handling your parcel. For returns and exchanges we process the order reference, the affected items and any photos you send of damaged or missing goods. Billing data (amount, currency, payment reference) is processed by our payment provider and reconciled by us for accounting; we never hold your full card number.
